After you find your table, you need to find your seat. A lot of weddings and events can accomplish this organically without assigning a specific spot. If all guests sitting at said table are familiar with each other and there are no risks of awkward dynamics or complicated dinner service elements to consider then this approach can work well. However, wether it’s for dietary restrictions or to encourage friendly conversations, place cards can often help your guests navigate the “where do I sit?” dilemma with ease. Plus they provide an opportunity for a pretty design detail, which is always a win in our book!
