We made it. The craziest year to date (nay, ever) is wrapped.
More weddings than we can count. More backup plans than we ever knew would exist. More marriages starting as safely and soundly as possible despite the uncertainty of this world.
As is tradition over here at just a little ditty, we love to wrap up the year with a final blog post providing reflections on what we learned looking back at the past 12 months. And if this year taught us anything it’s to expect the unexpected. As planners you can imagine that’s a pretty difficult concept to embrace. We prefer to have a Plan A through Plan Z and then some, but in an unpredictable pandemic sometimes (most times) that just wasn’t possible.
Learning to control what you can control and letting the rest be is a difficult but important lesson.
Events, much like life, will throw you curveballs. Not everything is going to go according to plan. As scary as that sounds, it can also be truly magical (like this beauty right here). If you learn to leave room for it. Roll with it. Accept it.
So in 2022, we’re leaving room for the unexpected. Cheers to letting the good (and not so good) times roll!
