We are very grateful to live and work in an area with so many talented wedding vendors. From lighting designers and tent installers to florists and musicians, Charlottesville is ripe with event experts. One partner we want to highlight that we are especially grateful for are other wedding planners!

Yes, even us – a team of wedding planners and designers – absolutely treasure our competition. Because that’s the thing – here, it’s not so much competition as it is community. There are enough weddings and couples and events and celebrations to go around! We absolutely NEED other planners to make it all work. Not only is the sheer number of opportunity a factor, but often we call on our planner friends for vendor recommendations (in case they’ve worked with a band we haven’t yet and we want a personal take for example), client referrals when our roster is full, or when we may not be the best fit for an event, but know another planner would be just the ticket.

Every event takes a team, and we would be nothing without the other amazing women (and men!) standing along with us serving couples in Charlottesville and beyond. So here’s a thank you to all of you (like Easton Events, Orpha Events, Day by Fay, Grit + Grace, Lane Stewart Events, Taz Greer and the list goes on and on)! You make us better and we are so thankful to have you.
