Olivia and Sean are connected to the JALD team in a few ways – Olivia was a bridesmaid in another little ditty wedding (hi, Megan + Jason!) and Sean is the cousin of one of our partners Maureen! So we were beyond thrilled when they asked us to help them plan their wedding (Maureen’s husband Danny even officiated!). Originally planned for fall 2020, we postponed their Baltimore wedding twice, ultimately getting to celebrate them in October 2021. With all the time that passed in between, and after getting married legally on their original 2020 date, the couple had an extra guest on board when it came time for the wedding. And we found the perfect way to weave in a nod to Baby McKenna by doing a gender reveal with the wedding cake (thanks to lots of careful planning and secret keeping by Cake by Jason)!
